My Photoshop Installation Adventure: I Tried It, It got Confused, Then It Happened!

Hello everyone 🙋♀️

I tried to install it exactly three times before writing this article.
I'm not exaggerating.
The first time the internet went down, the second time a warning appeared saying “installation failed”, and the third time I said, “okay, I'll explain it by writing it down.”
I'm writing it step by step in case you can handle it without any trouble.

1. Where Do We Download the File?

Frankly, I first typed “download Photoshop” into Google, but there were so many sites that came up...
At first I clicked on a random one, I made a mistake.
The file downloaded from there turned out to be something completely different.
Or rather, to enter Adobe's own site: adobe.com

The site is a little complicated, but there is something called “Creative Cloud” at the top right, so you will progress from there.

By the way, the file is a little big, so patience is required in the Decryption part.
I made coffee, I came, it was still 64%. ☕

2. Creative Cloud: Our First Hurdle 😅

Photoshop does not open immediately when you download it.
First, Creative Cloud is installed, then you install Photoshop from it.
I just opened the Photoshop file the first time, of course it gave an error.
Turns out that was the “main directing” program.

When the installation screen opens, it says “Sign In”, meaning log in.
If you do not have an Adobe account, it is opened in 2 minutes by e-mail.

Little tip: sometimes it doesn't accept the password when typing, I entered it twice.
In other words, the fault may not be yours, but the system's. 🙃

3. Installation Settings (I'm Confused Here)

There is an “Install Location” section during installation.
By default, it selects the C drive, but mine was already full.
I wanted to install it on drive D, then I couldn't find the icon on the desktop.
I realized later that I hadn't checked the “shortcut” option there.

So be you, read those boxes carefully.
It's all in English, but don't worry, it's usually in the form of “Next → Next → Finish”. 😄

4. The First Opening (And The Expected Moment of Panic 😬)

When the installation is finished, a blue “Ps” icon will appear on the desktop.
When it clicks, it will probably freeze for a while.
I waited for three minutes, I thought, “we're on fire, the computer is gone.”
But actually, plugins were being installed in the background at that time.
So be patient, as long as it doesn't close, it's fine.

5. Trial Version or License?

At the first opening, you will see a “Free Trial”, that is, a trial option.
I chose to try it because I wanted to get used to it first.
You can use it like the full version for seven days, there are no restrictions.
If you are thinking of buying it, there is a monthly subscription system, but I think you should try it first.

When I opened the program on the first day, the writing tools were in English.
After some tinkering, I found the language setting in the Edit → Preferences → Interface section.
Also, if the interface is dark, you can make it lighter with the “Light” option.
I chose the gray theme, it doesn't tire the eyes.

Sometimes it may give an “file not supported” error while saving.
In that case, save it from File → Export → Save for Web (Legacy).
That's how I was able to solve it.

Yes friends, my article is over here, take care of yourself. 💫
